technological issues
Well, we have a whole bunch of really great photos to post, multiple multi-person efforts have failed to post them. We'll try again. In the meantime here's a quick update. Bill and I finished the plywood floor for the platform early in the month. A few weekends ago RC, Mike, Ryan and John paid us a working visit and in one day we hauled up the woodstove, and raised the inner frame of the yurt giving us the skeleton of the walls and roof. While I was in Anchorage studying all week Bill framed up, insulated and homewrapped the roof. The next step is to put the outer cover on the roof. Waiting for a little help though- we tried but it was too heavy for just the two of us. We should be able to put up the stovepipe and fire up the woodstove pretty quick after that. Move-in day is close, I can smell the woodsmoke. betsy
